Total Equine logo

One complete feed for 95% of all horses.

Total Equine® is a complete extruded feed for horses of any age, any discipline, any activity level. No supplements. No top-dressing. No guesswork.

Most feeds are least-cost formulas — ingredients change when commodity prices do. Total Equine is a fixed formula built on its own proprietary base mix, unchanged since its creation in 2000. What worked then works now.

Light, highly digestible kibble — more of every bag becomes nutrition instead of waste. Easier to chew, safer to feed, from weanlings to hard-keeping seniors.

Minerals bonded for absorption, so they end up in your horse — not on the ground. Stronger hooves, better coats, real mineral nutrition that actually gets used.

Ascophyllum nodosum, harvested from cold North Atlantic waters. A natural source of trace minerals and bioactive compounds that support gut health — in every Total Feeds formula since day one.

Trail horses and team ropers. Hunter-jumpers and backyard companions. Weanlings, broodmares, and hard-keeping seniors. Total Equine was formulated to be the one feed that covers 95% of all horses — so you stop juggling bags, supplements, and doubt.

  • Complete nutrition — no supplements needed
  • One feed for every age and activity level
  • Extruded for digestive safety
  • Fixed formula — same ingredients, every batch, every plant
  • Manufactured in ionophore-free plants — zero contamination risk
  • Simple to feed: one bag for every horse in the barn
  • I have 2 horses that used to colic at a drop of a hat & since I’ve been feeding Total Equine they have not coliced once. Their coats are amazing, joints & tendons stay strong, and their mental state is phenomenal.

  • I was skeptical of feeding Total Equine after keeping my guys on a grain diet the whole 10+ years I’ve had them. My one tanked in his health when I switched him to a new farm. He dropped weight, got ulcers, tripped while walking and got cellulitis, and he had white line on his feet so bad he wasn’t walking correctly. He’s always been a hard keeper, but I’ve never had back to back issues with him like that before! After 2 months of being on this feed all these issues resolved. He’s a 15 year old OTTB and he’s back to his spunky self running around like an idiot. Pictures are the proof! Never switching my guy’s feed again!
